as they say- charity begins at home, i feel love too begins at home first. it is indeed very very easy being 'nice', 'understanding of other's perspective'--- of complete strangers or people with whom we are not as related as with our family, home, folks.
it is easier to forgive those who do not matter to us in our lives and one can go about being this higher evolved self...but what about those folks at home- our own kith and kin? it is difficult to put higher ideals into practice with them.
i dont know why this happens or if it happens only with me alone. but i certainly do know that it is the basic rule....love and compassion begins at home with ones own family and then one proceed to follow the commandment- Love thy neighbour.
